The protests!

This is a bit late, but a few weeks ago (Oct 17) I went to London to protest about the new junior doctor contracts. It was great fun, lots of camaraderie, and hopefully had some impact...

On Tuesday we're striking, which I think will have far more impact than the 20,000 people at the protests.

Catherine came to visit!

Catherine came to visit last Saturday for the day =D We went to Dartmoor and the beach and town - lots for one day!

It was chilly! But we bought some thick gloves in town for £2 so kept our hands warm! 

It was so lovely seeing her =D

Mess Weekend Away

A couple of weekends ago we went on the mess weekend away. We stayed in this amazing house in Bideford with 2 swimming pools and 2 jacuzzis! It was SO much fun!

We went on this really wet walk on the beach...

And played the most complicated board game in the world... (Cornish Smuggler)

It was great =D

September 20th!

These are photos from a v long time ago when I went to the stables Alex keeps his horse at and Sarah is planning on moving her horse to. They have pigs!!

But before we saw the pigs we ate pig for breakfast... These are Sarah + Alex's specialty - breakfast pasties. They have scrambled egg, sausage, bacon, tomatoes and beans. Yum!

After eating all the pig, we went to see the pigs...!

 We brought them wind fall apples from the garden, but they seemed a bit more interested in eating my shoes...

 They also have sheep =) which I tried to stroke, but they wouldn't let me...
