Which I think is a bit generous considering how I didn't know what year John Lennon was assassinated in... What's the difference between being assassinated and being murdered? I get it if there's some kind of political motive, but surely as a pop star you're just murdered?

Fun things this week

I'm sure I've missed out lots of fun things I've done with my friends, but I may as well start somewhere.

I had a pretty rubbish week at work, but the evenings/weekend have been great.

Last Sunday my church had "super Sunday" which involved us having a massive BBQ in a field on the edge of Dartmoor, with a bouncy castle and volley ball and rounders and sunbathing (I think I told you about this already).

Then on Monday I had some friends over for a BBQ, mix of church + work friends.

Tuesday I was on a long day so no random fun times. Wednesday I finished really late, but as soon as I got home we headed to the beach and had a beach BBQ over a driftwood fire and went swimming in the dark in our underwear/some random shorts the boys had brought:

On Friday I went to this concert that my church ran in a vineyard which was really great, and on Saturday I went to Jacob's ladder again with Pia, Saira and her boyfriend Shan.

And today I went to a church friend's birthday brunch this morning, then me + Pia cycled along the river and picked some elderflowers and made elderflower cordial!

So it's been a busy week! Don't want to go back to work tomorrow...

Oh and here's a picture of the first sweet pea flower in the garden! Hopefully there will be many more to follow! Maybe I should give them some tomorite...

82 year old bed bound dementia patient spent the whole of the ward round saying "Is there anything I can help you with dear?" and "Are you sure I can't do anything to help?"

And finally my favourite... Trying to persuade a lady to have a catheter: "I'm 86 years old, I have enough problems without you trying to shove something up me!"
