Planting and Life Paint

The vegetable patch is look pretty sparse at the moment, but hopefully there's a lot going on underground. And not just of the weed variety (there's definitely plenty of that).

I planted my potatoes the other day. Not entirely sure this is how you're meant to do it...

I know you're meant to earth them up so I figured an easier equivalent would be to plant them really deep and only half fill up the hole. Then later when they need earthing up I can just fill in the hole. I expect there's a reason why no one else does this... We'll see!

I also planted my peas. They're probably a bit close together, and will go a bit crazy. 

Today I planted my onion sets. Again not much to see yet!
